ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ: A special dwelling
In a cave in the bedding, there lived a hamster. Not in a dirty, wet hole filled with filth and smelling of mud and mold. Not even in a bare gravel cave where there was nothing to put his store supplies or build himself a cozy nest: it was an ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ cave, and that meant comfort.
The hamster didn't have to leave his house: bedrooms, bathrooms, pantries (there were many of them), dining room, everything was on the same floor. And if he did want to go outside, he could get out through a hidden entrance in the roof.

The houses of the ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ series can be buried in litter up to 13 cm high , thus supporting the natural, underground way of life of your pet.
The two chambers are used in a variety of ways to ensure a balanced living environment. Every fur nose has its own individual preferences. Over time, each room has a fixed role in your rodent's life.
The additional loophole at the top opens up new possibilities for your hamster to live out his living wishes to the fullest.
ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ: A fresh source of cool water
Clean water is part of the basic offer in the Nagarium. The integrated drinking holder including the durable Classic ® drinking bottle ensures that your golden hamster can treat himself to a refreshing sip when needed.
Thanks to the double ball valve, the drinker does not drip. The stainless steel drinking tube is guaranteed to remain rust-free and reliably withstand sharp incisors. We recommend changing the water daily and cleaning the drinking bottle weekly.
ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ: Secret revealed!
Hamsters and most other small rodents carry supplies of food to their homes. Hamsters' fresh food that is beginning to spoil (such as fruit or vegetables) can be removed without destroying the small rodent's nest. This keeps the housing clean and hygienic .
You can also check the nest of offspring without lifting the whole house.
Especially in the first few days of moving in, when you don't know your new housemate that well, it's reassuring to know that you can take a look at the rodent home.
ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ: Always well-groomed claws
The natural wear and tear of the claws is usually neglected in the nagarium. In the wild, the nimble rodents run over hill and dale and expand their burrow - here the claws shorten themselves. Offer
your pet the opportunity to constantly at the same time to care for regrowing claws when walking over it, and thus to avoid complications that can cause nails that are too long.
ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ: Also with filled cheek pouches...
An adult golden hamster can be up to 7 cm wide with full cheek pouches. If the entrances to the hamster house are too narrow, the fur nose has to squeeze through. The hamsters' cereal grains can injure the mucous membranes on the inside of the cheek pouches, which can lead to abscesses in the cheek pouches.
Entrances that seem too wide for our protégé are automatically closed with soft bedding and hay so that they can gather strength for the night undisturbed in the shelter of the building.

Golden hamsters only have a low heat tolerance limit. In nature, when it's hot, the animals retreat to the cooling, subterranean building - in the nagarium you can simulate this effect with the granite roof. In summer, the granite rock offers your rodents pleasant cooling.
Tip on hot days:
On particularly hot days, you can significantly increase the cooling effect by trickling or spraying a few drops of water onto the granite roof. A layer of plate moss improves the effect if you soak it in water beforehand and place it on the roof.
