This is due to the huge amount of guinea pigs being abandoned and needing to be rehomed around Ireland.

Guinea pigs need A LOT of space to be happy. When setting up your enclosure, we recommend setting it up in a space that allows a minimum of 4ft x 2ft area, but bigger is always better!

We also encourage guinea pigs to be kept indoors and only outdoors when supervised.
This is due to risks of escape, exposure to disease or exposure to predators such as cats or foxes.
