Behaviour: Arboreal species but does also burrow. Defensive and extremely fast. Will bite as defence strategy. Recommended for more experienced keepers.
Native Habitat: Ecuador – Java Island, Indonesia.
Lifespan: Females Average 10 - 12 years. Male average 2 - 3 years.
Size when fully grown: On average 14 - 15cm
Enclosure needs: A tall arboreal enclosure with adequate cross ventilation. Should have branches and decor to support web structures. Enclosure should also support between 10cm to 15cm of substrate, a vertical shelter like hollow cork bark.
Temperature and Humidity: Between 22 - 28°C and 70 - 80% Humidity.
