Specially formulated to aid the removal of wax and other debris from the ear canal of dogs and cats. It is gentle in action and does not irritate the ear. Since clean ears are less attractive to ear mites, its regularly use will make it unlikely that your pet will get ear-mite problems. May also be used to gently clean the ear prior to treatment of ear conditions. Has a soft rubber nozzle for easy application. Contains soothing menthol, mild antiseptics and MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) to strengthen delicate tissues
Beaphar Ear Cleaner should be used twice weekly to prevent the build up of wax and other debris in the ear canal. Prime the pipette and place the end at the entrance of the ear canal. Squeeze in 6 - 8 drops (depending on ear size), and massage the ear canal gently from the outside to help the cleaning process. Wipe any excess cleaner and dislodged wax from the top of the ear canal with cotton wool or tissues. Only clean areas you can see and DO NOT attempt to push anything (e.g. a cotton-bud) down the ear canal, as this may damage the lining of the ear or even damage the ear drum.
Repeat the process if the ear is very dirty.
Do not use on animals under 12 weeks of age. Do not use on pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use on animals which are under veterinary supervision for an ear problem.
